Key Requirements

• Verification of materials, mill test certificates and confirming compliance to the code & company requirements during IMIR clearance.
• Ensuring all inspections and tests are carried out as indicated on the appropriate Inspection &Test Plan (ITP) for Piping and Fitting Materials.
• Conducting welding procedure qualification tests and maintaining procedure qualification records (PQR) for Structural & Piping works.
• Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification & conducting Procedure Qualification test at site per requirement.
• Verification of welding consumables BTCs & conduct necessary Qualification test at site.
• Preparation of Job procedure & ITP pertaining to Structural, Piping & Welding works.
• Periodical Site Internal Audits.
• Visually inspecting the fit up & welded joints of Structural, Welding & Piping works.
• Welding inspection (surveillance checks before, during and after welding).
• Inspection of Piping-system wise and verification according to Isometric Drawing.
• Conducting all NDT inspections and preparation of all inspection records.
• Coordination with Customer for necessary day-to-day inspections.
• Inspection of Structure Welding and Piping Supports.
• Inspection of above ground piping, underground piping & Structure fabrication.
• Piping test package preparation, review, and site verification and punching the pending activities.
• NDT Clearance of Piping Test packs.
• Hydrotest witness of Tank & Piping system.
  

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineer.
• 5-7 Years of experience respectively as Mechanical Engineer in Piping.
• Must have knowledge of ASNT Level-2 and NDT Level-2.
• Strong Understanding of Process Piping and Structure.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
