Role Overview

QA Tester

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using
Playwright with TypeScript
.
Build and execute test automation frameworks using
Cypress
and
Selenium
wherever applicable.
Implement
Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
practices and collaborate closely with product owners and developers to define acceptance criteria.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for web applications.
Troubleshoot automation scripts, identify defects, and provide clear documentation for issue resolution.
Participate in Agile ceremonies—daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
Ensure high test coverage and contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Mentor junior QA team members and support quality initiatives across the project.

Required Skills & Experience

9–12 years
of professional experience in the QA and test automation domain.
Strong hands-on expertise with:
Playwright
(mandatory)
TypeScript
(mandatory)
BDD frameworks
such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
Cypress
Selenium WebDriver
Solid understanding of automation framework design and architecture.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to join
immediately
or within a very short notice period.
