QA Team Lead

As a QA Team Lead at Yanolja Cloud Solution Pvt. Ltd., formerly eZee Technosys, you will play a crucial role in managing our Quality Assurance team and enhancing the overall product quality. Your responsibilities will encompass leadership, strategic planning, team management, and practical testing. To excel in this role, you should be adept at establishing robust QA processes, guiding the QA team, and ensuring successful product releases, with prior experience in B2B SaaS, particularly in the hospitality industry, being an added advantage. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - **Quality Strategy & Process Setup** - Develop and implement top-notch QA practices for our hospitality SaaS products. - Establish manual and automation testing frameworks from scratch. - Oversee the entire QA process, from comprehending requirements to testing and final approval pre-release. - **Team Leadership & Management** - Lead and assist QA team members in their daily tasks. - Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' skills. - Effectively allocate tasks and manage team workload across various projects. - **Testing & Execution** - Review product and technical documentation to strategize testing procedures. - Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and checklists. - Manage all testing phases including regression, smoke, and sanity tests. - Validate fixes and issues post-update deployment. - **Tool & Workflow Management (ClickUp)** - Utilize ClickUp or similar tools to handle test cases, bugs, and team assignments. - Define bug severity rules and oversee the bug tracking process. - **Automation (Optional but Preferred)** - Automate repetitive tests such as regression or smoke tests. - Implement automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright whenever feasible. - **Cross-Team Collaboration** - Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Support teams. - Act as the final checkpoint for ensuring product quality before release. - **Reporting & Metrics** - Monitor QA performance metrics like bug count and test coverage. - Regularly update and provide reports to the leadership team. **Key Skills Needed:** - Leadership experience in QA teams and establishing QA processes. - Proficiency in SaaS products and manual testing. - Preferred familiarity with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Competence in tools such as ClickUp, JIRA, or similar platforms. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. **Requirements:** - 8-10 years of QA experience within B2B SaaS companies. - 3-5 years in a QA lead or manager position. - Hands-on expertise in manual testing, UI/UX testing, and API testing. - Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (preferred). - Experience using project management tools like ClickUp or JIRA. - Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
