Job Summary:

QA Manual Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify test scenarios.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.
Perform different types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and UAT.
Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Maintain and update test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Ensure adherence to QA best practices and contribute to process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3 years of experience in
manual testing
of web, mobile, and/or API-based applications.
Strong understanding of
STLC, SDLC, and defect management lifecycle
.
Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla).
Knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
