About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Lead to join our team and take ownership of quality assurance efforts across our Healthcare SaaS platform. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, API validation, and performance testing, along with strong domain knowledge in healthcare workflows, EMR/EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, and third-party integrations.

This is a high-impact role requiring close collaboration with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure our platform is secure, scalable, and defect-free.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategy for one or more product lines, ensuring coverage across manual, automation, API, and performance testing.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to review requirements, create detailed test plans, and test cases based on functional specifications and business rules.
• Supervise and mentor QA team members, driving best practices in test execution, bug reporting, and traceability.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks (UI and API), and continuously expand regression coverage.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Rest Assured to validate backend integrations.
• Plan and execute performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner; identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with DevOps to manage test environments, and integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure test coverage includes HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
• Provide regular QA status updates to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting risks and release readiness.

RequirementsMust-Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of QA experience
• Proven experience in manual and automation testing of Healthcare SaaS applications.
• Strong knowledge of API testing (RESTful APIs, Postman, Swagger).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or equivalent automation tools.
• Solid background in performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, and EMR/EHR platforms (e.g., Athena, Elation, Epic, Cerner).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like JIRA, Confluence.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Experience with Cypress , Playwright & Test Trigger
• Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of SQL and experience validating data pipelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
