Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

QA Lead

with a strong background in both

manual and automation testing

. The ideal candidate should have over 6+

years of QA experience

, with a proven track record in

leading QA teams

, developing test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. As a QA Lead, you will play a key role in driving quality practices across the SDLC, mentoring team members, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the QA team, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, test plans, and test strategies.
Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
Own the test automation framework and drive automation initiatives to improve testing efficiency.
Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
Identify, record, and track bugs; perform root cause analysis and impact assessment.
Ensure QA deliverables meet business and functional requirements.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on testing progress and quality metrics.
Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, conducting code reviews and training sessions.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
At least 2 years of experience in a QA leadership or team lead role.
Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, etc.
Experience in API testing, UI testing, and cross-browser testing.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Proficient in defect management tools like JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, etc.
Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments is a plus.
Familiarity with performance or security testing is a bonus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

Certification in ISTQB or other QA-related credentials.
Skills: automation,agile,testing,mannual testing,api testing
