QA Engineer (Selinium + Python)

Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our enterprise-grade AI/ML-powered platforms. As part of an agile product team, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and data scientists to plan, execute, and automate test scenarios for new and existing features across our web-based and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and validate product requirements, especially around data pipelines, forecasting engines, and user interfaces

• Design, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases

• Perform functional, integration, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing

• Identify, log, track, and verify bugs using JIRA or similar tools

• Collaborate closely with developers to debug issues and drive resolution

• Create and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, REST-assured, etc.

• Participate in release cycles, ensuring QA coverage across CI/CD environments

Required Skills

• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of deployed models and systems

• Own QA processes end-to-end for your modules and act as the quality gatekeeper before production releases

• 2–5 years of experience in software QA, with at least 1–2 years focused on automation testing

• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices

• Experience testing web-based applications and backend enterprise systems

• Hands-on with REST API testing using Postman or equivalent tools

• Proficiency with automation frameworks/tools such as: Selenium, Playwright, Pytest or similar

• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, or TypeScript

• Strong skills in SQL for data validation and backend testing

• Excellent analytical and debugging abilities

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Exposure to AI/ML-based platforms or data-heavy applications

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git
