Job Description

Manual QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

Manual tester but with good coding background to report bugs more effectively.
Understanding of and exposure to Selenium/Java Automation
Basics (Communication, Jira, Github).
Strong software tester background who understands SDLC thoroughly
Strong in creating test plans
Strong in understanding project requirements and functional concepts
Strong in writing Test Cases
Execute test cases and provide crisp reports.
Strong in creating bugs and follow complete bug life cycle
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test automation strategies.
Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites to validate web applications.
Create and execute automated test scripts for regression, functional, and performance testing.
Identify and report defects, track issues, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
Maintain code using Source Control systems majorly Git
Write clear and concise test documentation, including test plans and testcases.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation and share knowledge within the team.

Qualifications:

BE/BTech/ME/MTech: [Computer Science] / MCA
3+ years of proven experience in Manual Testing and exposure to test automation using Selenium/Java.
Strong proficiency in Java along with OOPS concepts
Experience with Agile software development processes and practices.
Experience with modern web development technologies (HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, etc.).
Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or similar.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques.
Experience with version control systems majorly Git is a must
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, gitlab CI, BitBucket CI , or similar is a must
Experience with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.
