Role Description This is a contract role for a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) located in Toronto, ON. The QA Engineer will be responsible for executing test cases, performing manual testing, and ensuring the quality of software through various testing methods. In this role, the engineer will develop, maintain, and execute test plans, participate in the identification and resolution of issues, and work closely with the development team to ensure optimal performance and reliability of software products. Qualifications Strong experience in manual testing (test case design, execution, defect reporting) Proficiency in automation testing with Playwright Hands-on experience with C# and TypeScript Knowledge of Minikube and Docker for test environments Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and QA best practices Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Ability to work overlapping with USA time zones (Good to have) Nice to Have: Experience with API testing (Postman) Exposure to performance or security testing Understanding of cloud environments What We Offer: Competitive compensation Flexible work culture Exposure to modern tech stack and challenging QA projects
