QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and relevant libraries.
• Perform manual testing for Web, API, and Mobile applications to ensure end-to-end coverage.
• Write and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Develop and maintain a scalable automation framework for regression, smoke, and functional testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or similar.
• Support mobile testing across Android and iOS platforms using tools like Appium (preferred).
• Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report defects using a bug-tracking system.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines(e. g., Jenkins).
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure thorough test coverage and understanding of business requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best testing practices within the team.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software QA, with a mix of manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and API testing tools.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with test frameworks such as TestNG or Junit.
• Experience using Postman for API validation.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Exposure to mobile automation tools(Appium preferred).
• Familiarity with cross-browser testing and mobile testing strategies.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud environments like AWS/GCP is a plus.
