QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

As a QA Engineer (Manual + Automation) at Genea, you will be an integral part of our Technology department, reporting directly to the Software Engineering Manager. With over 3 years of experience, you will be based in Ahmedabad, India, contributing to our mission of delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to our commercial real estate clients. In this role, you will be responsible for both manual and automation testing of web and mobile applications. Your duties will include designing and executing functional, regression, and exploratory tests, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet testing requirements. You will also write and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium and Cypress, develop end-to-end and regression test suites, and ensure cross-browser compatibility using cloud testing services. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in testing methodologies and manual testing. Additionally, you should have at least 1 year of experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium or Cypress. Proficiency in API testing, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python, and familiarity with version control systems like Git are also required.
