QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should be able to write test cases, execute functional and regression tests, and also build and maintain test automation frameworks. Familiarity with testing in Agile environments and exposure to modern tools will be preferred.Key Responsibilities:Manual Testing:Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test plans and test casesExecute functional, UI, regression, and exploratory testingIdentify, record, and thoroughly document bugsCollaborate closely with Product and Development teams to clarify business requirementsParticipate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesAutomation Testing:Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium with JavaCreate reusable, scalable, and reliable test scriptsIntegrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)Enhance test coverage through API testing (Postman/RestAssured)Maintain test documentation and reports to track quality metrics and improvementsRequired Skills:2-5 years of QA experience (manual + automation)Proficiency in Selenium with Java, TestNG or JUnitExperience with automation framework design (Maven/Gradle, Git)Hands-on experience in manual testing, test case design, and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and QA methodologiesKnowledge of REST API testing tools like Postman or RestAssuredExperience integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsNice to Have:Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber)Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeterExperience with AI/ML-based testing tools is a plusExperience working with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
