QA Engineer

2 to 4 yrs of QA Experience The candidate that will succeed in this position will be able to create all the testing and automation frameworks as required for their projects. Thus, the candidate may have to work on multiple projects once, also working to improve the company's best practices from a testing a standpoint. Responsibilities Implement well-structured test plans, create and execute test cases, report defects and verify the resolved defects while being involved in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, performance, automation testing. Work with QA team, software development team and business analysis team to test, assure and deliver end-to-end quality in the product and customer experience. Going the extra mile to ensure the work is completed on time with the desired quality. Liaise with internal teams to identify and learn system requirements. Ensure on-time delivery of assigned deliverables with quality and send test results, testing metrics and status reports on regular basis to stakeholders. Working knowledge of automation test platforms which include design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools such as Selenium, TestNG. Working knowledge in load testing/performance testing of web-based application using open-source tools. Plan and perform periodic full or partial regression testing. Monitor debugging process results from various logs, Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts. Working knowledge in TestLink, Bugzilla is an added advantage. Qualifications 2 to 3 years’ experience with manual/automation software testing (required) 3 or 4-year college degree (preferably computer software related) (required) Experience in developing and executing manual/automation test cases (required) Knowledge and experience with SDLC (strongly preferred) Any QA certification is a must. Knowledge and experience using various automated testing tools that include Selenium WebDriver, TestNG and JIRA is a must. Knowledge in TestLink, JMeter is an added advantage.
