About the Role

Manual & Automation Testing

Analyze requirements and design comprehensive test cases and test plans.
Perform manual testing of Web, Mobile (Android/iOS), and API applications.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and smoke testing.
Validate API functionality using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Jmeter.
Contribute to QA process improvements and automation coverage expansion.
Should have hands on experience on Web automation tool like webdriver IO.
Should have hands-on Experience in API automation using rest assured.
Automation Testing framework Mocha(Mandatory), testNG(Optional)
Programming knowledge: Javascript/TypeScript

Technical Skills Required:

Manual Testing – Functional and non-functional, Regression, Smoke.
Web Testing – Cross-browser and responsive testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
Mobile Testing (Android & iOS) – Native, Hybrid, and Web apps using real devices & emulators
API Testing – Postman, Swagger, Rest Assured (automation for API validation)
Automation Tools – WebdriverIO, Appium (Mobile), TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle
Programming/Scripting – Javascript (preferred)
Build & CI/CD Tools – Jenkins, GitHub Actions (or similar)
Version Control – Git/GitHub/Bitbucket
Test Management & Bug Tracking – Jira
Performance Testing (Good to have) – JMeter or similar load testing tools

Nice to Have:

Experience in performance testing (JMeter, Postman).
Knowledge of cloud-based testing tools (BrowserStack)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in web, mobile, and API testing environments.
Experience working in Agile environments is highly preferred.
