Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation principles, modern testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using TypeScript.
Design scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
Work with developers and product teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
Perform end-to-end testing using tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium (WebDriverIO).
Implement API test automation using tools such as SuperTest, Postman, or Axios.
Participate in code reviews, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution.
Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc. ).
Maintain test documentation, reports, and ensure traceability of defects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
Good understanding of TestNG, Mocha, Jest, or Cucumber (BDD).
Knowledge of API testing and automation.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
Experience in working with Agile/Scrum teams.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test execution in DevOps environments.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good To Have

Experience with performance testing (e. g., JMeter, k6).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
