Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, focused on driving test automation, and committed to working collaboratively within an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain robust automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop and enhance existing test automation frameworks and test suites, ensuring they are highly scalable, efficient, and reusable across various applications (including API and performance testing when applicable).
• Execute automated tests, meticulously analyze the results, accurately report defects/bugs, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution and tracking of issues.
• Perform essential manual testing for critical edge cases, complex user interface validations, or features that are not suitable for automation.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and design teams to thoroughly understand requirements and ensure quality is embedded throughout the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Contribute to defining and implementing QA best practices, strategic testing methodologies, and overall quality standards and processes within the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dedicated, hands-on experience in automation testing and QA automation roles.
• Proven proficiency with industry-standard automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Good scripting and programming skills in a relevant language (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) to reliably write and maintain test scripts.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and a willingness to integrate seamlessly into a collaborative development environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong analytical mindset, and a proven ability to detect subtle bugs and handle complex edge-cases.
• Effective communication skills, necessary for clear bug reporting, seamless team coordination, and comprehensive documentation of test cases and results.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
