QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications and web-based systems.
• Perform API testing to ensure integration points are working as expected.
• Conduct Mobile Testing across Android and iOS platforms, ensuring functionality, performance, and usability.
• Utilize Appium for mobile automation testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and implement testing processes.
• Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate defect management tools.
• Review and analyze test results, and provide feedback on potential improvements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation (test plans, test cases, and test scripts).
• Assist in continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Ensure the product meets the highest quality standards through rigorous testing and debugging.
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in QA Engineering with a focus on automation testing.
• Strong experience with Java for writing automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.
• Proficiency in Mobile Testing (Android/iOS) with experience in testing on real devices and simulators/emulators.
• Solid experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests into build processes.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within teams.
