Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer / Python Microservices Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications and microservices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, along with experience in DevOps practices and containerization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django, etc.).
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with external/internal systems.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient Python code with a strong focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and frontend teams to define system design and technical requirements.
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and CI/CD pipelines for robust deployments.
• Work with Docker/Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Optimize services for scalability, fault tolerance, and security.
• Maintain code quality, perform peer code reviews, and contribute to best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with latest Python, cloud, and microservices trends and recommend improvements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Python Backend Developer, with at least 3+ years in microservices development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, GraphQL (optional).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  

Preferred Skills (Good To Have)

• Experience with event-driven architecture and async programming.
• Familiarity with API security, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication mechanisms.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
