About the Role

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable backend applications using

  Python and Django

  .
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
• Optimize application performance, data storage, and backend processes.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Debug and resolve production issues and bugs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field

  (Mandatory).
• 2+ years of professional experience with

  Python

  and

  Django

  .
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and backend architecture.
• Experience working with relational databases such as

  PostgreSQL

  or

  MySQL

  .
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly

  Git

  .
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience or familiarity with

  React.js

  .
• Experience or exposure to

  Wagtail CMS

  .
• Understanding of deployment processes and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
• Basic knowledge of containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and automated testing.
