Purchasing Manager

Richie Bags is a Manufacturer and Exporter of Jute/Cotton Bags. Our commitment to quality and sustainability has allowed us to thrive in this competitive landscape. We are currently looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our team and help us maintain our excellence in sourcing raw materials and accessories for Jute/Cotton Bags. The ideal candidate for this position should possess prior experience working with textile and fashion accessory exporters.

• Vendor Management:

-Identify, assess, and manage relationships with suppliers of raw materials.
-Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.-Regularly evaluate supplier performance, and maintain a diverse and reliable vendor base.

• Procurement Strategy:

-Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive procurement strategy for raw materials.
-Ensure that sourcing aligns with the company's sustainability goals and maintains high-quality standards.-Manage documentation and record-keeping related to procurement.

• Quality Assurance:

-Collaborate with our Quality control teams in Factory to establish and maintain strict quality standards for raw materials.
-Implement quality assurance procedures and resolve any quality-related issues with suppliers promptly.

• Inventory Management:

-Oversee raw material inventory levels to meet production demands.
-Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize waste and excess stock.-Develop inventory forecasting models to optimize stock levels.

• Cost Management:

-Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to optimize costs.
-Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.-Control procurement-related expenses and work within budgetary constraints.

Please note: Experience in the Bags industry is preferred, but candidates with experience in Garments, Textiles made-ups or accessories are also welcome to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹33,000.00 per month
