Catholicans, founded by three Catholic youth from Kerala, aims to spread the Gospel of Christ across India, particularly in remote areas. The organization offers a wide range of Catholic merchandise, including books, crosses, scapulars, rosaries, T-shirts, apparel, and other gift items to both national and international shoppers. Catholicans strives to make international Catholic publications available to Indian shoppers at reasonable prices. Our mission is to integrate Catholicism into everyday life and ensure that people have access to the religious items they need.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Thrissur. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and procuring merchandise, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining supplier relationships. The Purchasing Manager will also track market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing, procurement, and supplier negotiation skills
• Strong inventory management and logistics coordination abilities
• Excellent analytical and market research skills
• Good communication and relationship management capabilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Relevant experience in retail or merchandise procurement is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
