Purchasing Manager

As an Assistant Manager/Manager - Purchase in the Real Estate industry located in Silvassa & Vapi, your main responsibility will be to purchase the right quality products at the right cost while ensuring timely delivery. You will need to identify alternative/new products in the market, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and present findings to management. Additionally, controlling inventory through optimizing lot size, reducing delivery lead time, and transferring excess dead stock to other sites will be crucial. Building strong relationships with vendors by evaluating their performance in the market and engaging in joint improvement projects is essential. Effective coordination with all sites, regular site visits, and creating a robust networking system internally and externally are key aspects of the role. Continuous monitoring, reviewing, and taking timely corrective actions to achieve set targets are vital for success. The ideal candidate should be an expert in construction materials, capable of handling end-to-end procurement processes, enhancing the value of products/services, and establishing annual rate contracts. Good negotiation and presentation skills are required for effective coordination with all sites. Research-oriented work and a strong focus on controlling inventory and delivery lead time are essential. Qualifications and Skills: - Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. - Experience: 7+ years in Purchase, with experience in real estate considered an advantage. - Strong understanding of property market dynamics, valuation, and laws. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in real estate management software and tools.,
