Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Management:Building relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and sourcing new vendors to meet hospitality needs.
• Cost Optimization:Analyzing market trends and obtaining competitive quotes to secure the most favorable prices and control expenses.
• Inventory Management:Monitoring stock levels to ensure sufficient supply without overstocking, maximizing inventory turnover, and optimizing space utilization.
• Procurement Process:Issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring the timely and accurate allocation of costs to departments.
• Quality Assurance:Verifying that purchased goods and services meet established quality standards and are delivered in the correct quantities.
• Departmental Collaboration:Working with other departments (like food and beverage or housekeeping) to understand their purchasing needs.
