Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager to be based in Kolkata. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. The role includes analyzing market trends, maintaining vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to align purchasing activities with business goals. The ideal candidate will also evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in procurement and supplier management
Analytical skills for evaluating market trends and inventory management
Ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
