Purchase Manger

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations for our event projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing inventory specific to the fast-paced and dynamic needs of the event industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate with vendors for event-related materials, equipment, and services (e.g., staging, lighting, décor, catering).
• Develop and maintain a reliable vendor database with competitive pricing and quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate with event planners and production teams to forecast procurement needs.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet event timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock for recurring event assets.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any supply-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and budget constraints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the event or hospitality industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with local and national event suppliers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A keen eye for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,834.67 - ₹70,552.22 per month
