Position : Purchase Manager Location: BHIWADI (Plant). Education Qualification: Qualification: B.E/ Diploma – Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Experience: Above 12 Years relevant to our products only & over all product cycle knowledge. No. of Vacancy : 2 Job Description: Company is purchasing wide range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, steel pipes and other such Engineering products from suppliers in India and overseas. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for a variety of steel and related products, as well as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering products sourced both domestically and internationally. ∙Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and coordinating with relevant internal departments. ∙Forecasting levels of demand for purchase of raw material spares, and component demands/needs of the production and keeping a constant check on stock levels. ∙ Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good relationships with them. ∙Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality. ∙Knowledge of LC/ BG payment terms. ∙ Knowledge of Hydraulic & Hose/Fitting Items for Manufacture /Hydraulic & Spare parts items for Manufacture /Rubber Items for Manufacture /Machining Items/Job Work, Steel Purchasing for Manufacture. ∙ Purchasing of electrical items checking Resource Availability and Certification of Suppliers and Inventory Control. ∙ Negotiating and enter new contracts and monitoring their progress, checking the quality of material provided. ∙ Processing payments and invoices ∙Maintain contract files and use them as reference for the future. ∙ Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities of the company ∙Giving presentations about market analysis and possible growth ∙ Developing an organisation's purchasing strategy ∙Evaluating bids and making recommendations based on commercial and technical factors ∙ Attending meetings and trade conferences. ∙ Knowledge of agreement/LOI ∙ Vendor’s Agreement term and Condition. ∙Import/Export Freight regarding knowledge. ∙ Supplier Management: Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers, building and maintaining strong relationships, and identifying potential suppliers to ensure the best value, delivery schedules, and quality ∙ Demand Forecasting: Accurately forecasting demand for raw materials, spares, and components, while keeping a close eye on stock levels to prevent shortages ∙ Contract Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating contracts, monitoring their progress, and ensuring the quality of materials provided. I have also processed payments, invoices, and maintained comprehensive contract files. ∙ Strategic Development: Developed purchasing strategies, evaluated bids, and made recommendations based on both commercial and technical factors ∙ Vendor Development: Experienced in new vendor development, site follow-ups, and managing the procurement of a wide range of items, from high-value assets like trucks and engines to C-class items like nuts and bolts. ∙ Technical Knowledge: Proficient in working with ERP systems, particularly Business Central ERP or Navision, and knowledgeable about LC/BG payment terms, import/export freight, and GST norms. ∙ Supplier Management: Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers, building and maintaining strong relationships, and identifying potential suppliers to ensure the best value, delivery schedules, and quality. ∙Demand Forecasting: Accurately forecasting demand for raw materials, spares, and components, while keeping a close eye on stock levels to prevent shortages. ∙Contract Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating contracts, monitoring their progress, and ensuring the quality of materials provided.
