Job Description

As a Purchase Manager at our fast-paced organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the uninterrupted supply of raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods and services at optimal cost, quality, and delivery timelines. Your deep understanding of FMCG supply dynamics, strong negotiation skills, and proactive vendor management approach will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and production schedules. - Forecast material requirements in coordination with production, planning, and inventory teams. - Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend. - Build long-term, value-driven relationships with key suppliers and conduct regular performance reviews. - Analyze market trends to anticipate material cost fluctuations and develop mitigation plans. - Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with uninterrupted production. - Monitor supply chain risks, including lead times, geopolitical issues, and regulatory changes. - Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal controls, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. - Maintain accurate documentation of supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and purchase records. - Work closely with production, R&D, finance, and quality assurance teams to align procurement with overall business needs. - Support product launches by ensuring timely availability of new materials and components. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 5-10 years of progressive procurement experience, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing sector. - Proven expertise in sourcing, cost negotiation, and vendor development. - Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and procurement analytics tools. - Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
