Job Description

Job Title: Purchase Manager
Company: Kakadiam LLP
Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
Location: Surat

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000Experience: 5 – 6 YearsJob Purpose:

To manage and oversee the procurement of IT hardware, machinery, consumables, and other materials for smooth operations, ensuring cost efficiency and timely supply while maintaining vendor relations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop procurement strategies and execute purchase plans.
Source and evaluate vendors for IT hardware, machinery, and consumables.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
Issue purchase orders and maintain records as per company policies.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/production for timely replenishment.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor database.
Prepare procurement reports and assist in budgeting.
Ensure compliance with legal and ethical procurement standards.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
In-depth knowledge of IT hardware & procurement process.
Good understanding of cost control and market trends.
Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP software.
Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications:

Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration (MBA preferred).
Experience in diamond/jewelry industry will be an added advantage.
