Purchase Manager (Civil)

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Purchase and Procurement Manager with a robust background in real estate and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, focusing on sourcing high-quality building materials, raw materials, and other construction-related supplies at optimal cost and delivery terms. This role requires a strong understanding of vendor management, supply chain strategies, cost control, and operational efficiency within the real estate and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the end-to-end purchasing process for all building and raw materials across multiple real estate projects.

· Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on cost efficiency, timely delivery, and quality.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers, contractors, and vendors; negotiate favorable contract terms to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery.

· Manage and mentor a procurement team, ensuring performance targets, KPIs, and development plans are in place.

· Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring due diligence, quality checks, and long-term reliability.

· Analyze market trends, vendor pricing, and competitor sourcing strategies to enhance procurement processes.

· Proactively mitigate supply chain risks and resolve potential supply bottlenecks to avoid project delays.

· Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.

· Ensure procurement compliance with internal controls, company policies, and legal requirements.

· Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

· 10+ years of relevant procurement experience, from real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.

· In-depth knowledge of building materials, supplier networks, and construction supply chain logistics.

· Proven experience in managing procurement teams and leading cross-functional collaboration.

· Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.

· Familiarity with procurement software/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

· Strong command over Excel

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
