Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager with a strong background in procurement within the real estate industry, specifically in high-rise building construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end procurement operations, vendor management, and ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of construction materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with high-rise project requirements and timelines.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors/suppliers for construction materials, MEP equipment, and specialized services related to high-rise developments.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal cost savings without compromising quality and timelines.
• Ensure timely availability and delivery of materials to all project sites to avoid any work delays.
• Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and payment cycles, ensuring compliance with project budgets.
• Maintain and evaluate vendor performance on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and service.
• Coordinate closely with project, site, engineering, and accounts teams to ensure efficient procurement planning and execution.
• Stay updated with market trends, pricing, material innovations, and supply chain risks in the real estate and construction industry.
• Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, legal/statutory norms, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, generate periodic MIS reports, and support audits as required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement within the real estate industry, preferably handling high-rise residential or commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials (civil, structural, MEP), vendor negotiation, and supply chain operations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
