Purchase Manager

Job Title: Purchase Manager Location: Raipur Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Job Summary The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities, vendor development, price negotiations, timely material sourcing, and maintaining cost efficiency. This role ensures uninterrupted supply of materials while maintaining quality standards and budget requirements. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to maintain optimum inventory levels. Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors. Create and maintain purchase orders, agreements, and documentation. Coordinate with departments (operations, accounts, stores, HR) for requirement planning. Track purchases and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Conduct vendor performance reviews and maintain healthy supplier relationships. Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and supply availability. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines. Reduce purchasing costs while improving material quality. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as a Purchase Executive/Manager (2–5 years preferred). Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent communication and analytical abilities. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (optional). Knowledge of procurement best practices and market research. Salary As per industry standards (Negotiable based on experience).
