Job description Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement purchasing strategies for pulses, grocery, and rice. • Identify and negotiate with reliable suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. • Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance. • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and stock levels to optimise procurement. • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to maintain optimal stock levels. • Manage procurement budgets, cost reduction strategies, and supplier contracts. • Implement and maintain procurement policies and best practices. Required Skills: • Minimum 5 years of experience • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. • In-depth knowledge of the pulses, grocery, and rice market. • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
