Job Description

oversees the procurement of fire detection, suppression, and safety equipment by managing suppliers, negotiating costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to meet industry standards and project requirements. This role involves tracking orders, maintaining quality control, developing new vendor relationships, and staying updated on market trends and innovations within the fire safety sector to maintain optimal stock levels and achieve the best return on investment for their company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Identifying, evaluating, and building relationships with suppliers of fire safety equipment.
  • Procurement Operations: Managing the entire purchasing process, from requisition to order completion, including preparing and processing purchase orders.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating terms with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable supply agreements.
  • Logistics & Delivery: Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolving any shipment issues.
  • Market Analysis: Staying informed about new products, technologies, and cost trends in the fire safety market.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitoring purchased products to ensure they meet quality and industry standards.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate purchase records, stock levels, and database information.
  • Cost Control: Analyzing costs and preparing reports to ensure budget adherence and maximum return on investment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with various fire detection, suppression, and safety systems and equipment.
  • Negotiation & Communication: Strong skills in negotiating with vendors and excellent communication for coordination.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze vendor quotes, comparative cost analysis, and market trends.
  • Supply Chain Management: Proficiency in purchasing processes, logistics, and supply chain best practices.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Certifications: Industry-specific certifications in supply chain management can be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
