experience

will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring products and services necessary for

the smooth functioning of Krishgen Biosystems. This role will involve direct interaction with

vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective

procurement of materials.

Key

Procurement

Manage the end-to-end procurement process for both local and international

purchases.

Source suppliers and maintain vendor relationships for both import and domestic

products.

Prepare and issue purchase orders for various materials and services required

by different departments.

Import

Coordinate with customs and clearing agents for the timely clearance of imported

goods.

Monitor international shipments, track deliveries, and manage import

documentation.

Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations and import/export

policies.

Supplier

Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best

quality at the most competitive prices.

Regularly evaluate suppliers based on performance, cost, and quality.

Explore cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies for procurement

optimization.

    Stock

    Management:

  • Maintain optimal stock levels to ensure continuity in operations, avoiding
  • overstocking or stockouts.
  • Track deliveries and resolve any discrepancies related to quality, quantity, or
  • timing.
  • Documentation

    &

    Record

    Maintenance:

  • Maintain accurate records of all purchase transactions, supplier details, and
  • inventory levels.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all import and local purchases, including
  • invoices, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Compliance

    and

    Quality

    Assurance:

  • Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with company policies and
  • regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control department to ensure that purchased items
  • meet the required standards.

    Cross-Departmental

    Coordination:

  • Work closely with the finance team for timely payments to vendors.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery
  • and proper storage of purchased items.

  • Skills

    &

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any
  • related field.

  • 4+

    years

    of

    experience

    in procurement, with a focus on import and local purchases,
  • ideally in the pharmaceutical, clinical research, or life sciences industry.
  • Solid knowledge of import-export procedures, customs regulations, and international
  • trade laws.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and procurement software.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and work under pressure.
