Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Should have an understanding of import-export procedures, global logistics, and compliance regulations, along with experience in coordinating with freight forwarders and customs agents.
• Import & Export Shipment Clearance - Ensure timely clearance to avoid demurrage/detention charges. Monitoring end-to-end documentation & pre-clearance checks.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT guidelines, EXIM policies, and international trade laws.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents) & transporters.
• Manage end-to-end import and export operations for raw materials and finished goods related to Advance Authorization.
• Documentation Accuracy & Compliance of Import & Export and Oversee license registration processes with Indian Customs, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Knowledge of Raw Material & Finish product along knowledge of HSN (Harmonised System of Nomenclature) / Tariff.
• Liaise effectively with DGFT offices for matters related to Advance Authorization applications, ECGC, RoDTEP, EPCG, LUT Bonds, and related schemes
• Apply for and obtain various Certificates of Origin (COO) from DGFT and other authorized agencies.
• Ensure accurate documentation for Drawback (DBK) claims and other export incentive schemes under Customs.
• Internal SCM Coordination & Reporting - Aligning SCM operations with factory dispatch & planning. Providing management visibility on SCM performance.
• Stay updated on changes in duty structure, GST, and global trade regulations.

Requirements and Key Competences (Education, Working experience, Languages etc.):

• Should have graduate degree in Chemistry with min.02 to 04 year experience in Import & Export.
• Communication Skill: English /Hindi/Gujarati.
