Purchase Executive

Job Summary:We are looking for a Purchase Executive to handle all procurement activities related to our electroplating plant and equipment manufacturing. The role involves sourcing raw materials, electrical and mechanical components, tools, chemicals, and consumables required for production. The candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and maintaining good supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities:Identify and source raw materials, plating tanks, machinery parts, electrical items, and chemicals required for electroplating plants. Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and negotiate with vendors for the best price and quality. Develop and maintain a strong vendor base for PP sheets, FRP materials, rectifiers, blowers, filters, motors, automation parts (PLC, HMI, SCADA), and fabrication items. Ensure on-time availability of materials to avoid production delays. Maintain purchase records, invoices, and coordinate with accounts for payments. Monitor stock levels, raise purchase requisitions, and coordinate with the stores department. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, delivery time, and cost. Work closely with the design, production, and project teams to understand exact material requirements. Follow company policies, industry standards, and ensure timely procurement for projects. Requirements:Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Commerce or related field. 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement (experience in engineering or manufacturing preferred). Knowledge of electrical and mechanical spare parts, tanks, fabrication materials, and plating-related equipment is an advantage. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Good communication and computer skills (MS Office, Tally/ERP preferred).
