Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Purchase Executive with 1–2 years of experience, preferably from a grain-based ethanol or distillery plant, to support our procurement operations. The role involves coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, handling purchase orders, and supporting internal departments with timely material procurement while ensuring cost efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials (grains like maize, broken rice, etc.) and plant consumables.

• Maintain optimum inventory levels to avoid stock outs and overstocking.

• Assist in price comparisons, negotiations, and cost control measures to ensure best value procurement.

• Create, process, and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Work with internal departments (production, quality, stores, accounts) to fulfill material requirements accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations of key raw materials and provide timely inputs to management.

• Maintain procurement-related documentation, reports, and records in a systematic and audit-ready manner.

• Coordinate with transporters and suppliers for logistics and delivery tracking.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Graduate in Commerce, Agriculture, or any relevant field

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in grain ethanol/distillery or related industries.

• Basic knowledge of grain commodities and ethanol plant materials is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Excel and purchase documentation.

• Familiarity with ERP or Tally systems is an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Working Conditions:

• Location is plant-based; candidate must be comfortable working in an industrial environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
