Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, components, and services as per project and production requirements.
• Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and track order status to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, delivery timelines, and product specifications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate with stores, accounts, and project teams for procurement planning and inventory management.
• Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs in coordination with planning and production teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards.
• Resolve vendor complaints and delivery issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in cost-saving initiatives and alternate sourcing strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP, Tally ERP, or similar)
• Good understanding of supply chain and inventory processes
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving and time management abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 1–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry
• Experience in sourcing electrical, electronic, or mechanical components is preferred

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
