Are you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? Emerson is seeking a highly motivated Purchase Assistant Buyouts to join the team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Directly assisting with Commodity leads in handling catalogue part / ABC class items purchase
Collaborate with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
Ensure compliance with company quality policies, legal regulations, and industry standards
Procurement of materials through indigenous and foreign sources as required in accordance with the sourcing rules in force.
Checking of requisitions/purchase indents.
Selection of suppliers for issue of enquiries.
Issuing enquiries/tenders and obtaining quotations.
Analyzing quotations and bids etc. , and preparation of comparative statement
Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order-to-order materials, goods and supplies.
Interact with the suppliers on a day-to-day basis.
Review deliveries against the orders.
Track the status of all open orders and Follow-up of purchase orders for delivery in due time.
Verification and passing of suppliers bills to see that payments are made promptly.
Ensuring all invoices are sent to accounts for payment process after good receipt.
Resolve issues such as delays, defective products, or incorrect shipments.
Maintenance of purchase records and vendor performance records/data
Effective co-ordination with Global Supply Chain (GSC) team across the world and align to their vendor management policies and consistent vendor performance.
Align materials as per Oracle Demand , synchronized receipt of materials & in turn supporting effectively in meeting customer delivery .
To review and set purchase policies on requirements of material from time to time.
To develop and maintain good buyer-seller (Vendor) relationship.

Who You Are:

You establish clear responsibilities and processes for itoring work and measuring results, build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and credit others for their contributions and accomplishments.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Degree or related discipline, with relevant experience
Knowledge of valve industry
Good analytical skills
Good communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint and the necessary skills to effectively utilize technology and systems specific to the department required.
Familiar with Oracle application of Betsy & Billy.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Directly assisting with Commodity leads and buyers in maintaining oracle transaction in excel file.
Visualize in converting excel file into Power BI dashboards
Coordinate with buyers in maintaining clean item attributes datasheet.
Maintenance of com excel files and up of purchase data
