Purchase Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchase Research Analyst to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching and analyzing market trends, suppliers, pricing data, and product availability to support efficient and cost-effective purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, materials, and product alternatives.
• Analyze price trends, vendor performance, and market conditions to support strategic purchasing.
• Maintain an up-to-date supplier database including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to assess cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in developing and implementing purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing trends, cost analysis, and supply chain performance.
• Evaluate supplier quotations to determine the best fit based on price, quality, and delivery time.
• Monitor industry news and economic trends that could impact material availability and pricing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Research Analyst or in a procurement-related role.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis tools, and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
