Job Overview

This is a full-time, junior-level Public Relations position based in Mumbai and Mumbai Suburban. The successful candidate will have up to 3 years of relevant work experience and contribute to enhancing brand visibility and reputation for clients across various platforms, supporting Jio Creative Labs' growth in the marketing and communication sector.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Media Relations (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to engage effectively with media contacts and secure positive coverage for clients across diverse channels.
  • Talent Management (Mandatory skill): Skilled in handling, guiding, and managing relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, or spokespersons.
  • Content Creation: Adept at developing compelling press releases, articles, presentations, and other PR content that strengthens brand image and message.
  • Event Support: Experienced in assisting with planning, execution, and promotion of PR events, ensuring seamless brand representation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Negotiation & Contracts: Capable of negotiating agreements with vendors, media representatives, and managing basic contracts for talent or event support.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients, media, and internal teams while maintaining professionalism.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing promotional material, monitoring media coverage, and preparing accurate reports and updates as needed.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet tight deadlines within a dynamic environment.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with key media and influencers to maximize positive brand exposure and coverage for clients and projects.
  • Coordinate with talent, including influencers and brand ambassadors, ensuring their effective participation in PR campaigns and events.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, statements, and other PR materials tailored to campaign objectives and brand voice.
  • Support planning and execution of PR events, including media briefings, interviews, product launches, and press conferences.
  • Track, analyze, and report on media coverage, campaign performance, and public sentiment to inform future strategies.
  • Negotiate with media vendors and partners, manage PR contracts, and ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Collaborate with creative, marketing, and client service teams to align PR initiatives with broader campaign goals.
  • Respond promptly to media inquiries, proactively address potential reputational risks, and manage crisis communications as needed.
