Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Development:

    Lead the end-to-end creation of high-quality proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs. Ensure full compliance with solicitation requirements while aligning with company goals.
  • Content Creation:

    Write clear, persuasive, and customized content that effectively communicates our solutions’ value proposition. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to integrate technical details.
  • Contract Vehicle Expertise:

    Develop and manage proposals for

    GWACs and IDIQs

    such as GSA Alliant 2, GSA OASIS, GSA MAS Schedules, CIO-SP3, and NASA SEWP. Stay current on each vehicle’s specific requirements.
  • Research & Analysis:

    Conduct thorough research on government procurement opportunities, agency requirements, and industry trends to support strategic proposal development.
  • Proposal Coordination:

    Oversee the proposal lifecycle — scheduling, compliance checks, review cycles, and final production.
  • Documentation & Templates:

    Build and maintain reusable content libraries, templates, and past performance references to streamline future proposals.
  • Continuous Improvement:

    Evaluate proposal feedback and implement best practices to improve overall quality and win rates.


Requirements

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum

    5 years of experience

    in proposal writing for federal, state, or local government contracts. Proven experience developing proposals for

    GWACs and IDIQs

    (e.g., GSA Alliant 2, OASIS, MAS, CIO-SP3, NASA SEWP).
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulations. Proficiency in

    Microsoft Office Suite

    and

    proposal management tools

    .
  • Research & Analytical Skills:

    Ability to interpret complex information and translate it into strategic, compelling narratives.
  • Communication Skills:

    Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to Detail:

    Strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and document quality.
  • Time Management:

    Capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications:

    APMP or equivalent certification in proposal management.
  • Industry Knowledge:

    Familiarity with sectors such as

    IT services, healthcare, and defense.

  • Software Skills:

    Experience using

    proposal management platforms

    and

    CRM systems.
