Proposal Engineer

The Proposal Engineer is responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals based on client requirements, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate costing, and supporting the sales team in winning new business. The role demands strong technical acumen, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze customer inquiries, RFQs (Request for Quotation), RFPs (Request for Proposal), and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals in line with customer specifications and company standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, production, finance) for data gathering and cost estimation.
• Develop cost sheets, pricing structures, and bid documentation.
• Ensure proposals comply with applicable codes, standards, and technical specifications.
• Assist sales and business development teams with technical support during pre-sales activities and client presentations.
• Track bid progress, submit proposals within deadlines, and follow up with clients for feedback.
• Maintain proposal documentation, historical data, and pricing databases.
• Support contract negotiations by providing technical and commercial inputs.
• Continuously monitor market trends and competitors to improve proposal strategies.

Requirements:

• Any Degree / Diplamo / BE (EEE/MEC)
• 2–3 years experience / Freshers
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
