Proposal Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for a Proposal Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in preparing technical and commercial proposals for turnkey electroplating plants and related equipment. The ideal candidate should have a background in Mechanical or Plastic Engineering and strong knowledge of industrial equipment, materials, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer requirements and prepare accurate technical and commercial proposals.
• Study project specifications, drawings, and process requirements.
• Estimate costs for equipment, materials, and manpower for electroplating plant projects.
• Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and competitiveness of proposals.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), costing sheets, and technical documents.
• Assist in technical discussions with clients and support the sales team during bidding.
• Ensure proposals meet client requirements, industry standards, and company guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Plastic Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Proposal / Estimation / Sales Support Engineer (preferably in industrial machinery, chemical process plants, or related fields).
• Knowledge of electroplating plants, surface finishing equipment, or plastic tanks will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, costing, and documentation skills.
• Good communication and client interaction skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks will be an added benefit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹9,275.97 - ₹38,091.52 per month
