Proposal Engineer

As a Proposal Engineer, you will utilize your skills in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Project Management, Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, CRM software, Technical Writing, and Negotiation to lead the preparation of comprehensive technical and commercial proposals. Your responsibilities will include creating engineering solutions, cost estimates, timelines, and project scopes. Collaboration with internal stakeholders such as technical teams, legal, and finance departments will be crucial to ensure that all aspects of the proposals meet client specifications, project scope, and industry standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates in coordination with the finance team, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring project feasibility and quality standards are maintained. In this role, you will lead and mentor junior proposal engineers and support staff, fostering team collaboration to ensure timely submission of proposals. You will also be involved in activities such as making presentations to support the sales team, creating vendor databases, standard price lists, Standard P & ID, PDF, and Mass Balance. Furthermore, you will participate in customer visits alongside the sales team for sales closure and provide post-sales design support. Your role as a Proposal Engineer will be dynamic and multifaceted, requiring a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective communication abilities to deliver successful proposals and support the overall sales process.,
