Proposal Engineer

As a Proposal Engineer at Zeta 4 Water Solutions, you will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) projects. Your expertise in cost estimation, material take-offs, and 3D modeling using software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit will be crucial for the successful execution of water treatment projects. Your role will also involve leading a team of 3-5 engineers/draftsmen, where your strong leadership skills will be essential in ensuring a smooth workflow for project execution. By recruiting, training, and developing the team, you will define workflows to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions while implementing best practices in proposal development and design documentation. Collaboration with Process Engineers, Project Managers, and Site Teams will be a key aspect of your responsibilities to align proposals with project execution. You will also be required to modify proposals and drawings based on client feedback, regulatory requirements, and technical feasibility, ensuring compliance with industry standards and quality assurance. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in ETP, STP, and ZLD proposal engineering. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SolidWorks, Revit, Navisworks, MS Office, and ERP systems is essential. Your technical expertise should include P&ID, Process & Piping Design, BOQ & Cost Estimation, and Water & Wastewater Treatment Process Knowledge. In addition, your leadership and management skills will play a vital role in team development, project coordination, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management. Staying updated on new technologies, design standards, and industry best practices will be crucial to ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards in proposal preparation. Conducting quality checks on designs and proposals before submission will further enhance the quality and competitiveness of our proposals.,
