Property Manager

The Property Manager oversees the daily operations, maintenance, and financial performance of assigned properties. This role ensures properties are well-maintained, tenant relations are positive, and business goals are met while complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Tenant Relations Serve as the primary contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly. Manage tenant onboarding, lease agreements, renewals, and terminations. Enforce lease terms and handle conflict resolution professionally. Property Maintenance & Operations Oversee routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Financial Management Prepare and manage property budgets. Collect rent, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records. Monitor expenses and work to maximize profitability. Administration & Compliance Maintain up-to-date records for leases, contracts, and property documents. Ensure compliance with local property laws, building codes, and landlord-tenant regulations. Prepare monthly and annual management reports for ownership. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a related real estate role. Strong knowledge of property management principles, landlord-tenant laws, and maintenance requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Property Manager – CPM) are an advantage. Work Environment: Office-based with frequent property site visits. May require availability outside regular business hours for emergencies.
