Prompt Engineer

Job Title: Prompt Engineer (1+ Year Experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Prompt Engineer to join our AI/ML team. In this role, you will design, test, and optimize prompts that interface with large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI’s GPT, Anthropic’s Claude, and others. Your work will directly impact how AI systems perform in real-world applications such as content generation, chatbots, coding assistants, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, structured prompts to guide AI model behavior across various domains.
• Test, analyze, and refine prompts for accuracy, relevance, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to integrate prompts into applications and workflows.
• Research and apply advanced prompting strategies such as few-shot learning, chain-of-thought prompting, and context optimization.
• Maintain prompt libraries, documentation, and prompt evaluation metrics.
• Provide feedback to improve underlying model performance and product outputs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with large language models, NLP, or prompt engineering.
• Strong understanding of prompt construction, model behavior, and context windows.
• Experience using platforms like OpenAI (GPT-4/ChatGPT), Claude, Cohere, or similar.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication skills, and creative problem-solving.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Nice to Have:

• Programming skills in Python or JavaScript for testing and automation.
• Experience with tools like LangChain, vector databases, or RAG-based systems.
• Familiarity with AI ethics, prompt security, or bias mitigation.
• Domain knowledge in one or more areas: content, customer service, legal, finance, healthcare, or education.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
