Project Planning Engineer-Civil Industry

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review and validate project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and their utilization.
• Monitor project delays and cost overruns; analyze causes and propose corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control, safety monitoring, and project management procedures.
• Track project progress and review dashboards, MIS reports, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities for timeline optimization and process improvements.
• Validate and review site data, material consumption, and billing quantities.
• Manage approval-related clauses in governing tenders through effective coordination and communication.
• Conduct project risk assessments and recommend mitigation or contingency strategies.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, and senior management.
• Support management decision-making through analytical insights and project performance reviews.

Skills & Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree or PMP certification is an added advantage).
• Proven ability to independently manage medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract management, and project planning tools.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in site and field conditions.
• High attention to quality, safety standards, and cost control.

Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Industry: Civil / ConstructionExperience:

• 15-20 years of relevant experience in construction project planning and execution

Reporting To: Management Team

• Preferably experienced in infrastructure or heavy civil projects
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
