Job Role: Project Manager – Waterproofing Specialist Location: Indiranagar Industry: Construction / Waterproofing Services Experience Required: 6–10 Years Job Type: Full-time Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager – Waterproofing Specialist to lead and manage end-to-end waterproofing projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate should have in-depth technical knowledge of various waterproofing systems (liquid applied membranes, bituminous, PU, cementitious, injection grouting, etc.) and strong leadership skills to supervise teams, coordinate with site engineers, labourers, and subcontractors, and ensure project completion within timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities: Oversee complete project lifecycle for waterproofing works – from planning, execution, quality control, and client handover. Analyze project specifications and site conditions to determine appropriate waterproofing solutions. Lead and manage on-site teams including engineers, foremen, labourers, and subcontractors. Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards. Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports. Manage budgets, cost estimation, material procurement, and inventory control. Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and vendors for seamless project coordination. Train and mentor team members on waterproofing techniques, materials, and best practices. Address on-site challenges, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions effectively. Maintain documentation including work orders, inspection reports, and client communications. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. 6–10 years of proven experience specifically in waterproofing project management. Strong knowledge of various waterproofing systems (liquid membranes, bitumen, PU, crystalline, injection grouting, etc.). Demonstrated experience in handling large-scale commercial and residential waterproofing projects. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Ability to read technical drawings and implement design specifications. Strong project planning, budgeting, and vendor management skills. Working knowledge of MS Project, AutoCAD, and site reporting tools is a plus. Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory): PMP or equivalent Project Management certification.
